ADMISSIONS POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
The admission of all students is made after careful
evaluation of each applicant's personal and academic qualifications. No
applicant will be denied admission to Native American Bible College on
the basis of race, color, gender, national, or ethnic origin. Native
American Bible College does not discriminate against individuals with
physical or mental disabilities who are otherwise eligible for admission
to the college. Each applicant must complete an application packet which
includes the following: application, health form, personal testimony,
pastoral reference, academic reference, high school transcript or GED
certificate, and any college transcripts. Dorm students are required to
submit a medical form.
Applicants must show evidence of a Christian
commitment, be in harmony with the doctrinal statement of NABC as
printed on the "What We Believe" page, and be
willing to abide by the student handbook. A favorable recommendation
from an individual's pastor (who has known the applicant at least one
full year) is required.
Application Procedure
Freshmen - Includes first-time college freshmen
and/or students who have not yet graduated from high school (even if you
have earned college credit during high school). If you are applying as a
freshman, you are encouraged to complete your Application for Admission
during the fall semester of your senior year of high school.
Transfers - If you are applying as a transfer student, you are
encouraged to complete the Application for Admission by November 1 for
the Spring Semester. Fall applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
Applicants are strongly encouraged to apply by the stated deadlines;
however, applications will be considered after the recommended
deadlines. Please note that late applications requesting on-campus
housing will be subject to the availability of space on campus.
Homeschoolers - If you are a homeschooled student, you will be
pleased to learn that Native American Bible College welcomes students
from a homeschooling background. We have traditionally found
homeschoolers to be high academic achievers with a mature faith.
The academic reference should be completed by an
individual who has observed your academic and personal progress (i.e., a
tutor or former teacher) or an employer. Academic recommendations should
not be completed by a relative. Homeschooled students should complete
the Application for Admission for consideration in admission to Native
American Bible College.
International Students - Native American Bible
College is not currently able to enroll international students. An
international student is defined as any applicant who is not a legal
U.S. resident.
Re-Applicants - Former students (those who have not attended
within one year) who wish to re-enroll at Native American Bible College
must complete the Application of Re-admission. Applications may be
obtained by contacting the Admissions Office. Re-applicants must be in
good standing with the college, and receive approval from the Board of
Administration. Native American Bible College is not obligated to admit
a returning student.
Former students who attended another college while
away from Native American Bible College must submit official transcripts
from all colleges they have attended directly to the Admissions Office.
Transcripts for courses currently in progress should be sent to the
Admissions Office upon completion of the course(s).
