1. New: Missions Major

Native American Bible College has received approval from the Office of General Administration at the University of North Carolina to offer a missions major. NABC continues to offer Associate of Religious Education (A.R.E.) and Bachelor of Religious Education (B.R.E.) degrees with two dual major programs:

(1)   Bible/Ministerial Studies for those preparing for pastoral or evangelistic ministry.

(2)   Bible/Christian Education for those preparing for work in the local church setting.

A third dual major, Bible/Missions, will be offered beginning Fall semester 2008. The Bible/Missions program will help prepare students for cross-cultural ministry in the US and abroad.

2. ABHE Applicant Status

     The Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE) has granted NABC applicant status.  The mission of the Association for Biblical Higher Education is to provide accreditation and services for institutions and programs of biblical higher education within Canada, the United States, and related territories. 

3. Change in Student Fees

Effective Fall semester 2008, student fees have been increased in three areas. The first change affects all students and the latter two affect only resident students. The fee changes are as follows:

1. Tuition has been increased from $40.00 to $60.00 per credit hour.

2. Board fee (meals) has been increased from $1,000.00 to $1,200.00 per semester.

3. Room fee has increased from $1,000.00 to $1,200.00 for private rooms, and $600.00 to $720.00 for semi-private rooms.
